Palnadu, 14 June (H.S.): Four persons went missing and six others were rescued after a boat carrying members of a family capsized in Andhra Pradesh's Palnadu district on Sunday, police said.

The incident occurred near Konur when the family was returning after attending a function. The boat reportedly lost balance and overturned in the water.

Local residents rushed to the spot and rescued six passengers. Four others remained missing till the filing of this report.

Police personnel and local residents launched a search operation to trace the missing persons.
