
Bhubaneswar, 14 June (H.S.): The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has announced temporary regulation of several train services at Puri Railway Station from June 16 to June 20, 2026, to facilitate essential safety-related modernisation and infrastructure upgrade works.
According to railway officials, the temporary arrangements have been made to ensure the smooth execution of critical development activities aimed at enhancing operational safety, improving passenger amenities, and boosting overall efficiency at the station.
As part of the revised schedule, Train No. 68450 Daspalla–Puri MEMU, Train No. 18401 Bangriposi–Puri Express, and Train No. 18417 Puri–Gunupur Express will be short-terminated at Khurda Road during the five-day period.
Similarly, Train No. 68449 Puri–Daspalla MEMU, Train No. 18402 Puri–Bangriposi Express, and Train No. 18418 Gunupur–Puri Express will originate from Khurda Road instead of Puri between June 16 and June 20.
In addition, Train No. 68404 Puri–Khurda Road MEMU will remain cancelled from June 16 to June 20, while Train No. 68403 Khurda Road–Puri MEMU will remain cancelled from June 17 to June 20, 2026.
ECoR has advised passengers to take note of the temporary changes and plan their journeys accordingly. Travelers are also encouraged to check the latest train status through the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) and other official railway enquiry platforms before commencing their travel.
