
Varanasi, 12 June (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi
Adityanath arrived in Varanasi on Friday evening for a two-day visit. When the
Chief Minister's helicopter landed at the Police Line grounds, BJP officials,
public representatives, and administrative officers already present there
welcomed him. From the Police Line, the Chief Minister departed for the Circuit
House under tight security.
On the first day of his stay in Varanasi, the Chief Minister
will attend several programs and also hold a review meeting of ongoing
development projects in the city. To commemorate the completion of 12 years of
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's tenure, the Chief Minister will participate in
the Mahakumbh of Public Welfare Schemes organized at the Girija Devi Cultural
Complex, Chowkaghat. The Chief Minister will inaugurate this program. After
inspecting the exhibition and stalls of various departments, the Chief Minister
will distribute acceptance letters and certificates to beneficiaries of
government schemes.
From there, the Chief Minister will proceed to the Circuit
House. He will also review various ongoing road construction projects in the
city, including the Dal Mandi Road Widening Project. He will then inspect the
National Aging Center under construction at BHU. Before retiring to the Circuit
House for the night, he may also visit the Kalbhairav Temple and Baba
Vishwanath Temple. On the second day of his visit to Varanasi, on Saturday, the
Chief Minister will attend the seventh national convention of Vigyan Bharti
organized at Banaras Hindu University as the chief guest.
