
Nagpur, 12 June (HS):
Air travellers between Nagpur and Indore will have fewer options as daily
flight service connecting the two cities is being temporarily suspended from
June 15. The services is likely to be resumed from June 18 and will operate on
five days in a week, except Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Air connectivity between
Nagpur and Delhi also has been scaled down owing to hike in fuel prices.
Earlier 7 to 8 flights daily were available, which have been reduced to five.
Similarly,
Nagpur-Mumbai flights have been reduced to five. Nagpur-Navi Mumbai which currently
operates daily, will be temporarily suspended from June 15. From June 16,
IndiGo will take over the route and will operate initially on Tuesdays and
Wednesdays.
IndiaGo flights to
Bengaluru and to Hyderabad will be suspended from June 15. Hyderabad. Kolkata
flight operating on Wednesdays only has been suspended from June 10.
The travellers have
fewer options to travel to these places. Moreover, the air fare have also been
increased considerably. The business persons are more affected due to reduction
of the flights from Nagpur.
