Varanasi,

06 May (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived in Varanasi

on Wednesday. His helicopter from Gorakhpur landed at the helipad in the police

lines, where he was welcomed by BJP officials, public representatives, and

administrative officers already present. From the police line, the Chief

Minister came to the Circuit House in a convoy of vehicles under tight

security. After staying here for some time, he attended the auspicious ceremony

organized at the house of Dr. Rajiv Krishna, Professor of Economics at Uday

Pratap College, Bhojubir.

Here,

after talking to the family members for some time, the Chief Minister also took

a group photo with them. After this, he reached the Kalbhairav temple for

darshan and puja. After the darshan and puja as per the rituals in the temple,

the Chief Minister also performed the aarti of Baba. From the Kalbhairav

temple, the Chief Minister will go to Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple for

darshan and puja. During his stay in the city, the Chief Minister will review

the development works at the Circuit House and then depart to Prayagraj.

It

is noteworthy that the Chief Minister was scheduled to visit Kashi on Tuesday

evening. However, his visit was canceled due to a delay in the Shikshamitra cheque

distribution program in Gorakhpur. In anticipation of the Chief Minister's

arrival in the city, extensive security arrangements have been made, with the

venue and route designated as no-fly zones.
