-Bengal Victory is Triumph of Trust in Modi Over TMC's Fear: Amit Shah
New Delhi, May 4 (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanked West Bengal's people for BJP's victory, stating the party will spare no effort to fulfill their dreams and aspirations.
PM Modi's Reaction
In an X post, the Prime Minister described the elections as unforgettable and the results as a victory of people's power. Expressing gratitude to Bengal's voters for the win, he said BJP's politics of good governance has received their full blessings.
He assured that BJP will leave no stone unturned to realize West Bengal's people's dreams and aspirations. The double-engine government will ensure equal opportunities and respect for all sections of society.
A senior BJP leader called the victory the result of decades of tireless efforts and struggles by dedicated workers, who are the party's true strength.
Amit Shah's Statement
Union Home Minister Amit Shah said Bengal's residents have taught infiltrators and their sympathizers a lesson that appeasement-practicing parties will never forget. He affirmed that the hopes and aspirations with which Bengal placed faith in Modi's leadership will certainly be fulfilled.
Shah declared, This is the victory of trust in Modi over TMC's fear. For every BJP worker like me, this is a moment of pride that the saffron flag of BJP proudly flutters from Gangotri, the source of Mother Ganga, to Ganga Sagar.
He added that BJP will work day and night to restore the lost glory of Bengal—sacred land of greats like Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Swami Vivekananda, poet Gurudev Tagore, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, and Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee—and realize the 'Sonar Bangla' dream.
Shah noted this victory is the result of countless workers' sacrifices, struggles, and martyrdom—the triumph of patience of families who endured violence yet never abandoned the saffron flag.
