Nitin Nabin Arrives in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, 18 May (H.S.): BJP National President Nitin Nabin arrived in Bhubaneswar on Sunday evening as part of his two-day visit to Odisha. Senior BJP leaders and party workers accorded him a grand welcome at the Bhubaneswar Airport.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Deputy Chief Ministers K. V. Singh Deo and Pravati Parida, along with BJP National Vice-President Baijayant Panda, MPs Aparajita Sarangi and Dilip Ray, state ministers, and several MLAs greeted Nabin with floral tributes upon his arrival.

Following the reception, the BJP National President stayed overnight at the Rajya Atithi Bhavan in Bhubaneswar.

According to his official itinerary, Nabin will participate in a core committee meeting at the BJP state office on Monday. Later, he is scheduled to inaugurate and address the district-level Pandit Deendayal Training Mahabhiyan-2026 camp organised by the Bhubaneswar organisational district at the Asian Institute of Physical Health Education campus in Jatni.

In the afternoon, Nabin will travel to Puri, where he will offer prayers at the Jagannath Temple and partake in Mahaprasad. He is later expected to return to Bhubaneswar for discussions with state office-bearers, Morcha presidents, and members of the council of ministers at the BJP state headquarters.

Nabin’s visit assumes political significance as the BJP government in Odisha completes two years in office. The tour also marks his first visit to Odisha since assuming charge as BJP National President nearly three-and-a-half months ago, creating enthusiasm among party leaders and workers across the state.
