
Guwahati, 14 May (HS): Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday visited the revered Kamakhya Temple and offered prayers.
During his visit to the temple atop Nilachal Hill in Guwahati, the Chief Minister sought blessings for the peace, prosperity and well-being of the people of Assam. Devotees and temple authorities welcomed the Chief Minister during the visit.
The Kamakhya Temple is one of the most prominent Shakti Peethas in the country and attracts lakhs of devotees from across India every year.-----------
