New Delhi, 06 April (H.S.):

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has intensified its election campaign for the upcoming Assembly elections across five states—West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Assam, and the Union Territory of Puducherry—with top leaders working around the clock.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President JP Nadda will address public rallies in Assam today. Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will spearhead campaign efforts in Kerala and Puducherry.

According to the BJP's official X handle, PM Modi is scheduled to speak at rallies in Barpeta at 11:00 AM, Hojai at 1:30 PM, and Dibrugarh at 4:00 PM. JP Nadda will also remain in Assam, addressing gatherings in Tinsukia at 12:00 PM and Lakhimpur at 2:00 PM.

Amit Shah will mark BJP Foundation Day by addressing party workers in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, at 10:00 AM, before proceeding to Puducherry for a roadshow to boost the campaign.

The elections are slated as follows: West Bengal's 294 seats in two phases on April 23 and 29; Tamil Nadu's 234 seats on April 23; and single-phase voting on April 9 for Kerala's 140 seats, Assam's 126 seats, and Puducherry's 30 seats. Results for all polls will be announced on May 4.
