Guwahati, 05 April (HS): Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday extended his heartfelt greetings to the Christian community on the occasion of Easter, conveying wishes of joy, peace and renewed faith.

In his social media message, the Chief Minister highlighted the sanctity and significance of the occasion, expressing hope that the festival would bring new strength to people’s faith and illuminate hearts with renewed hope and positivity.

Sarma further stated that the values of sacrifice and noble ideals associated with Easter should inspire individuals to lead more humane lives and foster compassion, peace and harmony in society. He wished that the spirit of the festival continues to guide people in maintaining unity and goodwill among all sections of society.-----------
