New Delhi, 29 April (H.S.): Heavy rain and adverse weather conditions in the national capital have significantly disrupted flight operations at Delhi's airports, affecting multiple services and prompting major airlines IndiGo and SpiceJet to issue travel advisories urging passengers to check flight status and allow extra time.

India's largest budget carrier IndiGo posted on X advising travelers that poor weather has impacted schedules across Delhi. We are monitoring conditions closely and working diligently to ensure your safe and smooth journey to your destination, the advisory stated, recommending passengers track updates via http://bit.ly/4bCoWYk or their app.

Our teams stand ready to assist you every step of the way. We anticipate clearing skies soon and returning to normal operations. Thank you for your patience and understanding, IndiGo added. A separate advisory noted similar disruptions in Aizawl, Leh, and Agartala, again urging extra travel time due to potentially slow road conditions.

SpiceJet confirmed its helpline numbers are fully operational and available 24x7 for assistance at +91 (0)124 4983410 or +91 (0)1247101600. Operations are expected to normalize as weather improves.
