Guwahati, 28 April (HS). The results of the Higher Secondary Final Year examinations have been officially declared on Tuesday, with the Science stream registering the highest pass percentage among all streams.

In the Arts stream, the overall pass percentage stands at 79.54%. A total of 2,41,124 candidates appeared for the examination, out of which 1,91,798 students successfully passed. Among them, 54,755 secured first division, 79,181 obtained second division and 57,862 candidates passed in third division.

The Commerce stream recorded a pass percentage of 81.13%. Out of 19,469 candidates who appeared, 15,796 cleared the examination. In terms of division-wise results, 7,787 students secured first division, 5,694 obtained second division, and 2,315 passed in third division.

The Science stream achieved the highest success rate with a pass percentage of 89.79%. A total of 60,667 candidates appeared in this stream and 54,474 of them passed the examination. Among the successful candidates, 34,079 secured first division, 17,777 obtained second division, and 2,618 passed in third division.

The overall performance reflects a strong academic outcome across all streams, with the Science stream leading in terms of pass percentage.----------
