Lucknow, April 28 (HS): Appointment

letters distribution event held in Lucknow on Tuesday for the 936 selected Head

Operators/Head Operators (Mechanical) for the Uttar Pradesh Police Telecommunication

Department. Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, “State’s

image has completely changed in the last nine years. Now, young people are not

given jobs based on recommendations or bribes, but rather on their merit. “No

recommendation, no money. The entire recruitment process was completed in a

fair and transparent manner, adhering to your merit, capability, and the rules

of reservation,” opined UP CM.

Chief Minister Yogi was addressing the gathering on Tuesday at the Jupiter

Hall of the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Gomti Nagar after distributing

appointment letters to the selected chief operators for the Uttar Pradesh

Police Telecommunications Department. CM Yogi said that before 2017, the state

had the capacity to train only 3,000 police personnel, but now 60,000 police

personnel have been trained in the state's own police centers. He said that

this clearly demonstrates that if there is a will to act and clear intentions,

results can be achieved.

“The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board is set to conduct

nearly 1 lakh new recruitments this year, recruitments for Home Guard, Civil

Police, SI will take place. The rule of law is the first guarantee of

development. Every major investor from the country and the world is coming to

UP. Every Indian citizen, when they honestly fulfill their duties in their

respective fields, that vision of a Developed India will be realized.” he

added.

Earlier, in a post on X, UP CM remarked,

“Today marks a significant opportunity in the direction of empowering the

security system of Uttar Pradesh with new strength in technical proficiency and

swift communication. The Uttar Pradesh Police will have the honor of providing

appointment letters today to 936 selected Chief Operators/Chief Operators

(Mechanical) for the Telecommunications Department.”
