
Lucknow, April 28 (HS): Appointment
letters distribution event held in Lucknow on Tuesday for the 936 selected Head
Operators/Head Operators (Mechanical) for the Uttar Pradesh Police Telecommunication
Department. Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, “State’s
image has completely changed in the last nine years. Now, young people are not
given jobs based on recommendations or bribes, but rather on their merit. “No
recommendation, no money. The entire recruitment process was completed in a
fair and transparent manner, adhering to your merit, capability, and the rules
of reservation,” opined UP CM.
Chief Minister Yogi was addressing the gathering on Tuesday at the Jupiter
Hall of the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Gomti Nagar after distributing
appointment letters to the selected chief operators for the Uttar Pradesh
Police Telecommunications Department. CM Yogi said that before 2017, the state
had the capacity to train only 3,000 police personnel, but now 60,000 police
personnel have been trained in the state's own police centers. He said that
this clearly demonstrates that if there is a will to act and clear intentions,
results can be achieved.
“The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board is set to conduct
nearly 1 lakh new recruitments this year, recruitments for Home Guard, Civil
Police, SI will take place. The rule of law is the first guarantee of
development. Every major investor from the country and the world is coming to
UP. Every Indian citizen, when they honestly fulfill their duties in their
respective fields, that vision of a Developed India will be realized.” he
added.
Earlier, in a post on X, UP CM remarked,
“Today marks a significant opportunity in the direction of empowering the
security system of Uttar Pradesh with new strength in technical proficiency and
swift communication. The Uttar Pradesh Police will have the honor of providing
appointment letters today to 936 selected Chief Operators/Chief Operators
(Mechanical) for the Telecommunications Department.”
