Lucknow,
April 27 (HS): Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, has been a
key BJP campaigner in West Bengal, introducing his zero-tolerance
administration philosophy to the state. He has harshly attacked the TMC
administration, citing a breakdown in law and order, attacking them on
religious grounds, and advocating double-engine development. Yogi has attacked
the TMC openly, claiming that Bengal is experiencing an identity crisis and
that the TMC is undermining its cultural foundations. He has cited his government
in Uttar Pradesh as an example for rigorous law and order, notably controlling
public gatherings. During his campaigns, he made news by declaring that women
are no longer secure in Bengal and voicing concerns about religious festivals. He
has connected his campaigning to Bengal's cultural history, pushing voters to
support the BJP for a TMC-free state.
In
a post on X, UP CM mentioned, “The consciousness of revolutionary Bengal has
awakened. Devotees of Mother Kali are ready on April 29, in the second phase of
voting, to drive the final nail into the coffin of the TMC, which harbors
'Kaaba' in its heart and 'Medina' in its eyes. Today, I will engage in dialogue
with the vigilant public of the Kalyani, Dhanekhali, Dum Dum, and Rajarhat
Gopalpur assembly constituencies, who form the powerful axis of this historic
transformation. Undoubtedly, on May 4, the darkness of TMC will dissipate, and
the sun of BJP will rise.”
Earlier
his office, penned a post on X, which reads as follows: “The public outrage
arising from the policies of the 'ruthless-government' that strikes at the
cultural identity of West Bengal with religious fanaticism is clearly visible
across the entire state. The people here today stand at that decisive juncture,
where the restoration of dignity, security, and their rights has become
paramount. To intensify this public movement, Chief Minister Shri @myogiadityanath
ji Maharaj will participate tomorrow in
roadshows organized in the Kalyani and Dum Dum assembly constituencies of West
Bengal, and will address public meetings held in the Dhanekhali and Rajarhat
Gopalpur assembly constituencies.”
