Jammu, 25 April (H.S.): An old rusted mortar shell was found at Narol village in Mendhar, triggering concern among locals.

According to reports, villagers spotted the suspicious object and immediately informed the Army. Acting swiftly, a team reached the spot and secured the area.

Later, the Bomb Disposal Squad carried out a controlled explosion to destroy the shell. No damage to property or injuries to civilians were reported during the operation.
