Lucknow,

April 21 (HS): Thousands of women, including Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath,

Deputy Chief Ministers Brijesh Pathak and Keshav Prasad Maurya, Minister of

State for Panchayati Raj Om Prakash Rajbhar, Rajya Sabha MP Arun Singh, and

Union Minister Pankaj Choudhary, took to the streets in Lucknow on Tuesday to

protest the opposition's conspiracy to violate the Nari Shakti Vandan Act. They

shouted slogans against the Congress and Samajwadi Party. They unanimously

declared that the bill was due to be passed in Parliament on April 17th, but

the Congress and Samajwadi Party not only opposed it but also celebrated its

defeat in the vote by clapping. They called it a violation of women's rights

and said that these parties would face the consequences of women's anger in the

2027 elections. Union Minister Pankaj Choudhary even said that the Indi

Alliance has now proven to be an anti-women alliance.

Deputy

Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak said that today the women's power of the state is

on the streets. Due to the conspiracy and narrow-mindedness of the Samajwadi

Party and the Congress, the Nari Shakti Vandan Act has been stalled in

Parliament. Today, the angry women of Uttar Pradesh are taking to the streets

to criticize the Samajwadi Party and the Congress. These parties will face the

consequences in the upcoming elections. We all know well that whenever the

Samajwadi Party is in power in the state, goons and criminals openly harass

sisters and daughters. That is why slogans like, Look, the SP's men are

comig, daughter is scared! are raised. It is time for everyone to unite

and make the SP and the Congress realize the power of women. Let us become

Mother Durga, Mother Kali, and Mother Saraswati and teach the opposition a

lesson.

We

will ensure reservation for women: Keshav Prasad Maurya – Deputy Chief Minister

Keshav Prasad Maurya said that the Samajwadi Party must be wiped out. Can

anyone win the 2027 elections without women? If women are not given reservation,

the SP and Congress will not receive any votes in the upcoming elections. Get

ready for this. Prime Minister Modi has said that we will not give up. We will

ensure women get reservation. With this resolve, we must launch a public

outrage march from here.

Will

never forgive SP and Congress: Rajya Sabha MP Arun Singh said that on April

17th, women across the country had a desire that when the decision on the Nari

Shakti Vandan Act would be in their favor. They would celebrate, rejoice, and

this day would be written in golden letters in the pages of the country's

history. But the Congress and Samajwadi Party opposed the amendment to the Nari

Shakti Vandan Act in Parliament and voted against it. They not only opposed it,

but also applauded and celebrated after violating women's rights. This reflects

the mentality of the Congress and the Samajwadi Party. This is the reason there

is public outrage across the country. That is why you have gathered here in

such large numbers, to show that we will never forgive the SP and Congress.

Pankaj

Chaudhary said that the BJP's identity is the upliftment and respect of women.

Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, our government is continuously

working towards women's empowerment. The primary objective of the Nari Shakti

Vandan Act was to empower the mothers and sisters of the country to become

leaders, enabling women to contest 33 percent of the Lok Sabha and State

Assembly seats, ensuring their participation in policy-making. Despite this,

the opposition, including the Samajwadi Party and the Congress, obstructed its

passage. Some argued that this would create divisions between North and South

India. Some also argued that Muslim women should also have reservations. Our

leaders responded to all these objections in detail in the House. While the

opposition parties talk about respecting and empowering women, on the other

hand, in pursuit of the veil and vote bank, they have harmed the interests of

the 80 percent majority women in the name of the 20 percent minority women.
