Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday extolled India's women as the quintessential hallmark of a robust nation, invoking a timeless subhashitam to honor mothers, sisters, and daughters for their unwavering resolve, devotion, and service ethos across all domains.

In a poignant X post, he proclaimed, Our Nari Shakti embodies a mighty India—today, the nation's mothers, sisters, and daughters are elevating Bharat's glory through their indomitable spirit.

Delving into sacred tradition, PM Modi cited a profound shloka from the fourth chapter of Shri Durga Saptashati (Shakambhari Stuti): Devya yaya tatamidam jagadatma-shaktya nishsesha-devagana-shakti-samuhartya; tam ambikam akhila-deva-maharshi-pujyam bhaktya natah smarata etad aham api shubham karaya.

He elucidated its essence: the Divine Mother, manifesting as the collective potency of all deities, crafted the cosmos through her primordial energy, revered equally by gods and sages alike. All divinities and great seers worship the Mother, Modi reflected, and before her we bow in reverence, beseeching her auspicious blessings upon us.
