Margherita, 14 April (HS): Acting on credible intelligence, a team from Margherita Police Station carried out an anti-drug operation at Ledo Tea Estate (6 No. Line) in Assam.

During the raid, the police recovered 10.19 grams of suspected heroin from a residence. The contraband has been seized, and further legal action is being initiated in connection with the case.

According to police sources, the operation was part of ongoing efforts to curb the growing menace of drug trafficking in the area. Investigation is underway and efforts are being made to identify and apprehend other individuals involved.------------
