Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing critique against the Trinamool Congress (TMC) during his address in Siliguri, West Bengal, asserting that post-elections, the Mamata Banerjee government's departure from the state is inexorably ordained.

He underscored that under TMC's tenure, West Bengal's condition has deteriorated markedly, with the populace witnessing its ruination over preceding years.

On the second day of his West Bengal sojourn, arriving in Siliguri on Sunday, the Prime Minister solicited votes for all five BJP candidates in Darjeeling district and all seven in Jalpaiguri district.

He accused the TMC administration of expending 6,000 crore rupees on madrasas while neglecting holistic state advancement, alleging that the government operates exclusively for its favored vote banks. Reiterating that West Bengal's plight has worsened under TMC governance—a devastation the public has endured—he mandated that Mamata Banerjee's regime render account for its 15-year stewardship.

Evoking his roadshow, PM Modi professed indelible gratitude for the public's affection and endorsement, proclaiming that this Siliguri congregation would shatter TMC's complacency.
