Mumbai, 06 Mar (HS): The Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS)

has arrested a 21-year-old engineering student, Ayan Sheikh for having

connection with terrorist squads. The ATS raided some places in Mumbai’s Kurla,

Govandi and Shivaji Nagar regions and arrested Ayan Shiekh for interrogation

and later arrested him and offence under the unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.

ATS team seized his laptop, mobile phone and other

gadgets for examinations. Ayan Sheikh had shared objectionable audio, video with

Jaish-e-Mohammad chief Masoor Azhar. Ayan had tied to influence his two friends

using the videos. He was working as a sleeping cell member of Jaish-e-Mohammad

for the last six months.

The investigation revealed that he was being supplied

funds via Saudi Arabia. ATS is searching

for the money he has received so far and role of his three friends (18-23 Years)

in connection with the terrorist organisation.
