Noida,
05 March (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the
newly constructed KDSG Super Specialist Hospital in Sector 10, Greater Noida
West, on Thursday afternoon. This hospital was built by former cricketer Kapil
Dev and his company. Ayushman card holders are also treated at this hospital.
Chief
Minister Yogi participated as the chief host in the formal pujan and havan at
the inauguration of the newly constructed KDGS Super Specialist Hospital. On
this occasion, Kapil Dev, his wife Roma Dev, regional MP Dr. Mahesh Sharma,
Rajya Sabha MP Surendra Nagar, BJP regional president Satyendra Sisodia, Uttar
Pradesh minister Kunwar Brijesh Singh, MLA Tejpal Nagar, Dhirendra Singh, MLC
Narendra Bhati, Shrichand Sharma and a large number of dignitaries were
present. During the inauguration of the hospital, the Chief Minister toured the
entire campus. During this, the hospital management informed the Chief Minister
that Ayushman card holders will also be treated here.
On
this occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, I congratulate Kapil
Dev, the great cricketer who won India its first World Cup, and his family for
entering the healthcare sector. They have built the hospital as a service
project. This will provide excellent super-specialist care not only to the
residents of the district, but also to the citizens of all districts connected
to the NCR. He said that the health sector is extremely important for
every individual. Naturally, everyone depends on healthcare in some form or the
other. The government has made efforts at its own level, but without the
participation of the private sector, it is very difficult to provide good
healthcare to everyone.
He
said that for the first time since independence, healthcare has become
available through the Ayushman Card. Today, more than 600 million people in
India are being provided this facility under Ayushman Bharat. Uttar Pradesh is
the leading state in the country. He said that a doctor's good behavior can
cure half of a patient's illness. He said that when Kapil Dev played as India's
bowler and captain, the Pakistani team would already have lost half the match.
If we assume that the hospital is Kapil Dev and the disease is Pakistan, then
the illness would already be half cured. He said that when a patient recovers
quickly due to good advice and treatment, the hospital also gains recognition.
He
said that Kapil Dev has taken on the responsibility of running the hospital in
collaboration with the prestigious DY Patil Group of Maharashtra, a very
prestigious and professional group. It has done good work in Maharashtra, and
its experience will now be available to Gautam Buddha Nagar and the districts
adjoining the NCR. Yogi said that Prime Minister Modi has done a lot of work in
the field of healthcare across the country. He said that until 2014, there were
only six AIIMS in India, which were operating with considerable difficulties.
Today, 23 AIIMS equipped with world-class facilities are functioning in the
country. He said that Uttar Pradesh has a double-engine government. The CM said
that before 2017, there were only 17 medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh, but
today 71 medical colleges are operating in 75 districts, and four more will be
operational soon. He said that if the KDGS Group establishes a medical college
in the area, it will help provide better healthcare to the local citizens.
Yogi
stated that the One District, One Medical College policy has been implemented
in Uttar Pradesh. He added that India's largest airport is about to open in
Gautam Buddha Nagar district. He stated that 55 percent of India's mobile phone
manufacturing is taking place in Gautam Buddha Nagar. Sixty percent of
electronic components are being made in this district. He added that a film
city is also being built here. A medical device park is being built in this
district. A major logistics and cargo hub is developing in this district.
