Lucknow,

31 March (HS): Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya praised

the central government's efforts toward a Naxal-free India, saying that under

the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the iron resolve of Union

Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, the backbone of the Red Terror, which

had gripped the country for decades, has been broken. Areas once under Naxal

control are now experiencing a new wave of development, trust, and patriotism.

In a press

release issued on Tuesday, Keshav Maurya said that there was a time when

Naxalites and Maoists, nurtured by leftist ideology, had the audacity to

declare a Red Corridor from Pashupati to Tirupati and had captured a large part

of the country. But the Modi government's decisive policy and strict action

have dismantled that entire network. Today, the echo of 'Vande Mataram' is

heard in that same so-called Red Corridor – this is the greatest victory of the

new India.

He said

that it is also a bitter truth that the Congress and its leadership have always

adopted a soft approach towards these destructive elements. Whenever there has

been strong action against Naxalites, the Congress and the Gandhi family have

suffered the most. They have never encouraged the vigorous efforts of state

governments, but instead have discouraged them. The Congress's attitude towards

movements like Salwa Judum in Chhattisgarh is a clear example of this.

Deputy

Chief Minister Keshav said that during the UPA government, Naxalite morale was

boosted, but upon coming to power, the Modi government resolved to eradicate

this challenge and accomplished it. Today, new dimensions of roads, education,

health, and employment are being established in Naxal-affected areas, which are

important steps towards a developed India.

He said

that along with Naxalites, urban Naxalites also pose a major obstacle to a

developed India. They work in cities to mislead the youth through their

fragmented and destructive ideology. Disrupting the thinking of such elements

and defeating them ideologically is as essential as eliminating Naxalites

operating in the forests.

Keshav

Maurya said that even today, Congress has not been able to break free from the

same old thinking that plunged the country into violence and instability for

decades. This party has been protecting anti-national ideas while wearing the

mask of democracy, but now the country's conscious public has fully recognized

this duplicity.

Finally,

he said that under Prime Minister Modi's leadership, India is not only free

from Naxalism and terrorism, but is also moving strongly toward the goal of a

developed India by 2047. This is a new India where nationalism, development,

and the echo of Vande Mataram are the new identity, not red terror.
