March (HS): Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya on Sunday
listened to the popular programme 'Mann Ki Baat' addressed by Prime Minister
Narendra Modi along with public representatives and dignitaries at his camp
office in Lucknow.

Chief Minister said that the Prime Minister's Mann Ki Baat program
has become a powerful medium of inspiration, guidance, and encouragement for
the countrymen. Through this program, the Prime Minister's thoughts instill new
energy, self-confidence, and a sense of pride within every citizen of the
nation. He said that the Prime Minister's Mann Ki Baat program is a
wonderful public communication that strengthens the spirit of nation-building.
He said
that the Prime Minister's balanced, clear, and reassuring approach to the
current global situation and the challenges posed by the energy sector
demonstrates that India is vigilant, capable, and determined in every
situation. The Prime Minister's call for citizens to remain vigilant, stay away
from rumors, and maintain a united and restrained behavior is a vital guidance
for every citizen.
Citing
various inspiring examples presented by the Prime Minister in Mann Ki
Baat, the Deputy Chief Minister said that the Guinness World Record set
by planting more than 251,000 saplings in a single hour in Varanasi is a matter
of great pride and honor for Uttar Pradesh. The Prime Minister's One Tree
in the Name of Mother campaign is transforming environmental protection
into a mass movement, in which the active participation of students, soldiers,
and voluntary organizations is commendable.
He said
that through the Gyan Bharatam initiative, International Yoga Day,
and other public welfare initiatives, the Prime Minister has provided positive
direction to society. Furthermore, community-level efforts across the country
to address the water crisis—such as the revival of ponds, rainwater harvesting,
and the construction of thousands of lakes under the Amrit Sarovar
campaign—are powerful examples of public participation.
