26 March (HS): On
the eighth day of the ongoing Navratri festival at the Maa Kalyani Devi Temple,
at 5 a.m., General Secretary Pandit Shyam Ji Pathak performed the Mangala Aarti
of Maa Kalyani and invoked Mata Mahagauri. By 2 p.m., a large crowd of devotees
lined up in the temple premises to have darshan and worship the mother. After
the darshan and worship, devotees performed ear-piercing and tonsure ceremonies
for their children. And participated in
the Durga Saptashati Path and Shatchandi Mahayagya going on in the temple
premises and at 6 pm the doors of Maa Kalyani Devi's decoration darshan were
opened for the devotees and Maa Kalyani gave darshan to the devotees in the
form of Mata Mahagauri adorned with golden ornaments.
After
getting the darshan of Maa's supernatural form, the devotees raised loud
slogans and the entire Kalyani Devi Dham resonated with the chants of Maa's
praise. Maa's Maha Aarti at 7 pm and midnight Shayan Aarti at 12:30 midnight
were duly performed by President Pandit Sushil Kumar Pathak ji and he told that
on Friday, on the ninth day of Navratri, Maa Kalyani Devi will be adorned in
the form of Mata Siddhadatri. Maa's entire gem-studded decoration will be done
with golden ornaments and multi-coloured flowers. Mata Mahagauri will be seated
on a lotus flower in Chaturbhuji form and will hold conch, chakra, mace and
padma in her hands. Apart from this, the birth anniversary of Maryada
Purushottam Shri Ram ji will be celebrated with great pomp at 12 noon and after
the worship of virgin girls and food, the completion of Shat Chandi Maha Yagya
will be completed and a feast will be organised.
Fair's management president Sushil Kumar Pathak, general secretary Shyam ji
Pathak, coordinator Anil Pathak, Yagyacharya Santoshanand Maharaj, Dilip Pathak,
Sudhir, hundreds of volunteers and police personnel were deployed. On this
occasion, on the eighth day of Shri Ram Katha organized by Shri Navsamvatsar
Manas Samiti under Maa Kalyani Devi Mandir Dham, while narrating the story to
the devotees, Katha Vyas Dr Aniruddha ji Maharaj, while listening to the
episode of Lanka Kand, said that Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram told Mata
Janaki that Ravana was not killed by our hair but by his misdeeds, atrocities
and ego and this is an indication of the fact that no matter how powerful a man
is, he will have to be defeated in front of religion and truth and the deeds of
a man are the reason for his downfall and rise.
The Katha was conducted by spokesperson Omkar Nath Tripathi. On this occasion,
hundreds of devotees including Kumar Narayan Pandit Krishna Kumar Pathak,
General Secretary Subodh Khanna, Shivbabu Tripathi, Rajesh Kesarwani, Manoj
Tandon, Kunwar Ji Tandon, Raju Yadav performed Aarti.
