March (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath routinely pays tribute
to the heritage of famed Hindi poet and educationist Mahadevi Verma,
acknowledging her as a Chhayavadi period pioneer and staunch advocate for
women's liberation. He paid honors to her on her birth anniversary and
recognized her contributions to Hindi literature and education. The Chief
Minister's compliments highlight her contributions to national consciousness
and literary quality.
In a post
on X, he stated, “Humble tribute on the birth anniversary of 'Padma Vibhushan'
Mahadevi Verma, the prominent voice of female identity, the renowned poet of
the Shayari era. His works, which vividly depict the intimate dialogue between
man and nature, will continue to convey an immortal message of human
sensitivity, compassion and spiritual beauty.”
