23 March (HS): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday launched the AI-based
advanced single-window portal, Nivesh Mitra 3.0, at Lok Bhavan. This initiative
aims to increase investment in the state, simplify the industry establishment
process, and accelerate Uttar Pradesh's goal of becoming a $1 trillion economy.
The UP Private Business Park Development Scheme 2025 was also launched. Letters
of Comfort, eligibility certificates, land allotment letters, and subsidies
worth Rs.
2,781.12 crore will
be provided to 85 companies from various sectors, including manufacturing,
electronics, food processing, and automobiles. The Plug-and-Play Industrial
Sheds Scheme, based on the DBFOT (PPP) model, was also launched, allowing
investors to begin production immediately.
Invest UP
will sign MoUs with two companies for the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and
with The Convergence Foundation for the Skill Connect Cell. Finance Minister
Suresh Khanna, Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, and
senior officials were present at the event.
During the
grand launch of Nivesh Mitra 3.0, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath delivered
subsidy cheques totaling Rs.
2,781 crore to investors across varied industries, highlighting Uttar Pradesh's
pro-industry policy. Ankur Udyog Ltd, JK Cement Ltd, Varun Beverages Ltd, Paswara
Papers Ltd, SLMG Beverages Pvt Ltd, Wonder Cement Ltd, Unilever India Pvt Ltd,
and others were among the key beneficiaries, demonstrating the state's
commitment to boosting investments, supporting industries, and strengthening a strong,
business-friendly ecosystem.
On
Tuesday, the Uttar Pradesh government presented the improved 'Nivesh Mitra 3.0'
single-window platform in an effort to spur industrial growth and make
commercial processes easier. According to authorities, the program bolsters the
state's desire to become a USD 1 trillion economy. The updated Nivesh Mitra
site offers speedier services, including an AI-powered chatbot, real-time SMS
notifications, and fewer procedural processes. Aside from connecting with the
National Single Window System, it implements important procedural improvements,
decreasing application fields and document requirements by a large margin.
