Domestic bullion markets saw gold and silver prices slide further Tuesday with early weakness persisting across major centers. The downturn tracked global cues amid Middle East de-escalation hopes pushing both metals lower. 24-carat gold traded between Rs 135640 and Rs 135790 per 10 grams while 22-carat ranged Rs 124340 to Rs 124490 per 10 grams.
Delhi quoted 24-carat at Rs 135790 and 22-carat at Rs 124490 per 10 grams with silver at Rs 229900 per kilogram. Mumbai pegged 24-carat at Rs 135640 22-carat Rs 124340 while Ahmedabad Chennai Kolkata and others hovered around Rs 135640-135790 for 24-carat and Rs 124340-124490 for 22-carat. Lucknow Jaipur Patna Bhopal and southern hubs like Bengaluru Hyderabad Bhubaneswar mirrored these levels.
The consistent softening reflects profit booking after recent spikes tied to geopolitical tensions now easing with ceasefire buzz. Buyers hold off as international spot gold dips alongside lower oil underscoring the rally's reversal across retail mandis nationwide.
