Lucknow,
22 March (HS): Appointment letters were distributed to 1228 nursing officers in
UP. They have been posted in different medical colleges including Kanpur and
Prayagraj. This will further improve health facilities. On Sunday in the
capital Lucknow, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath handed over appointment letters
to 492 newly selected nursing officers. The remaining 736 candidates were given
appointment letters by public representatives during a live program organized
in 13 government medical colleges and two medical institutions. The appointment
letter distribution program was organized in Lok Bhavan.
On this
occasion, CM Yogi said that nursing is a field where there is a complete
guarantee that if you have studied in this field, you will get a job. There is
demand for it not only in UP and India but also abroad. In the last nine years,
UP has seen the establishment of 81 medical colleges. Before 2017, appointments
were made, but no one cared whether doctors went to the hospital or not, or
whether patients received treatment. Now the system has changed.
Health
services will improve: According to the Medical Education Department, these
appointments will improve health services in government medical colleges. This
recruitment process was completed through the Uttar Pradesh Public Service
Commission. The newly selected nursing officers will be posted in medical
colleges in Agra, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Meerut, Jhansi, Gorakhpur, Ambedkar Nagar,
Kannauj, Azamgarh, Jalaun, Saharanpur, Banda, and Badaun, as well as the JK
Cancer Institute and Cardiology Institute, Kanpur. The selected candidates
include 1,097 women and 131 men.
