Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a Sanskrit subhashitam on the morning of Saturday, paying obeisance to Goddess Chandraghanta and invoking her divine blessings for the well‑being of all devotees.
In his post on X, the Prime Minister wrote, “मां चंद्रघंटा को प्रणाम! माता से प्रार्थना है कि वे हर किसी को सशक्त, समृद्ध और सौभाग्यपूर्ण जीवन का आशीष दें,” which translates to “Salutations to Mother Chandraghanta! I pray that the Mother showers upon everyone the blessings of a strong, prosperous, and auspicious life.”
He also quoted the Sanskrit verse, “पिण्डजप्रवरारूढा चण्डकोपास्त्रकैर्युता। प्रसादं तनुते मह्यं चन्द्रघण्टेति विश्रुता॥,” describing the Goddess as the one who rides a lion, bears mighty weapons, and is renowned as Chandraghanta, bestowing her grace upon her devotees.
The Prime Minister expressed his heartfelt salutations at the feet of Maa Chandraghanta, praying that the Mother Goddess, who embodies both courage and calm, continues to bless all with confidence, prosperity, and a life filled with good fortune. By sharing this Sanskrit invocation, he underlined the enduring power of India’s devotional traditions and the aspiration that every individual may be strengthened and uplifted by the divine.
