Bhubaneswar, 14 March (H.S.): Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari is recovering steadily following his recent treatment at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi. According to sources, the minister’s health condition has improved significantly and he is expected to be discharged from the hospital tomorrow.

After his discharge, Pujari is scheduled to return to Bhubaneswar. His flight is expected to arrive at Biju Patnaik International Airport at around 8:30 PM.

His return comes just a day ahead of the crucial Rajya Sabha elections scheduled for March 16, enabling him to participate in the voting process.

Earlier this month, the minister was admitted to AIIMS Bhubaneswar after experiencing chest pain, which was later diagnosed as coronary artery disease. He was subsequently shifted to AIIMS New Delhi for advanced cardiac treatment, where he successfully underwent bypass surgery.

Doctors have stated that his condition has remained stable throughout the treatment period and have expressed satisfaction with his recovery. Recent medical updates indicate encouraging progress as he continues to recuperate under close medical supervision.
