
Beijing/Moscow, 13 March (H.S.): China's Red Cross Society announced $200,000 in emergency humanitarian assistance to Iran's Red Crescent Society (IRCS) during the ongoing US-Israel military confrontation with Tehran. Beijing expressed profound grief over student deaths in a recent strike on an Iranian primary school.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun conveyed deep condolences for the school attack, underscoring the Red Cross aid decision. Meanwhile, Russia, per President Vladimir Putin's directive, dispatched 13 tons of medicine-laden humanitarian supplies via Azerbaijan for handover to Iranian authorities, as stated by the Emergency Situations Ministry.
The ministry confirmed aviation arrangements delivered the consignment to Azerbaijan for onward transfer to Islamic Republic officials.
