Domestic Sarrafa markets opened lower today, with gold shedding ₹1,020 to ₹1,110 per 10 grams and silver tumbling a steep ₹10,000 per kilogram in early trade.This downturn has brought 24-carat gold to trade between ₹1,62,210 and ₹1,62,360 per 10 grams across most Indian bullion hubs, while 22-carat gold hovers from ₹1,48,690 to ₹1,48,840 per 10 grams.
Silver, hit harder by the slide, is now at ₹2,79,900 per kilogram in Delhi's Sarrafa Bazar.In Delhi, 24-carat gold stands at ₹1,62,360 and 22-carat at ₹1,48,840 per 10 grams. Mumbai, the nation's financial capital, quotes 24-carat at ₹1,62,210 and 22-carat at ₹1,48,690 per 10 grams, with Ahmedabad close behind at ₹1,62,260 and ₹1,48,740 respectively.
Chennai and Kolkata both list 24-carat gold at ₹1,62,210 and 22-carat at ₹1,48,690 per 10 grams. Bhopal mirrors Ahmedabad's rates, while Lucknow and Jaipur align with Delhi at ₹1,62,360 and ₹1,48,840 for 24- and 22-carat varieties; Patna matches Bhopal.
The softening extends to southern and eastern states, where Karnataka, Telangana, and Odisha capitals—Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar—report 24-carat gold at ₹1,62,210 and 22-carat at ₹1,48,690 per 10 grams.
