
Nanded, 13 Mar (HS): A
heliplant will be started in Nanded by investing Rs 4,250 crore. The State
Government has signed an agreement with Retavia Private Limited for helicopter
assembling, production of spare parts, maintenance and technical services
necessary for helicopters.
The information was shared by former Maharashtra
Chief Minister and MP Ashok Chavan. Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis had promised
to start the project in Nanded during the municipal elections, which he has
fulfilled.
Chavan said that the project will generate direct
employment for 1800 to 2000 youths and a large number of indirect jobs in the
region.
Fadnavis is is fast working on the dream of Prime
Minister Narendra Modi of Make in India and Developed Bharat, and trying to
improve Maharashtra’s contribution in his mission. Helipant in Nanded is a part
of the mission, Chavan added.
