March (HS): Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, while
addressing the media in West Bengal, said that an atmosphere of corruption and
anarchy has been created in the state under the leadership of Chief Minister
Mamata Banerjee. He said that the people of West Bengal are expecting change.
In a statement issued by the camp office of the Deputy Chief Minister on
Wednesday, Keshav Prasad Maurya said that allegations of corruption are
continuously coming to light in various schemes and administrative works in
West Bengal, due to which the trust of the general public in the governance and
administration is decreasing. He alleged that the state government has
completely failed to curb corruption.

Prasad Maurya said that in a democracy, the people are supreme and it is they
who decide the direction and condition of the state. He expressed confidence
that the people of West Bengal will prioritize good governance, development,
and transparency in the future. The Deputy
Chief Minister said that the objective of the Bharatiya Janata Party is to
establish transparent and public welfare governance in every state of the
country, so that the common citizens can get direct benefits of the schemes and
corruption can be effectively stopped.
