
Jammu, 11 March (H.S.): The 4th edition of Tawi Festival being organised by Amar Mahal Museum and Library, functioning under Hari Tara Charitable Trust, will be held from March 13 to 15, 2026.
In a press conference here today, Dr. Jyotsna Singh, Director Amar Mahal Museum informed that the festival will feature a range of cultural and artistic activities celebrating the rich heritage of the region.
Extending good wishes to Dr. Karan Singh on his 95th birthday, Dr. Jyotsna said that one of the highlights of the festival will be the release of the biography of Dr. Karan Singh, titled ‘A Statesman and a Seeker: The Extraordinary Life and Legacy of Dr. Karan Singh.’
“The festival will also include art camps and workshops at the Amar Mahal Museum and at Kala Kendra, organized in collaboration with students of the Institute of Music and Fine Arts under the guidance of artist-teacher Sihan Billawaria,” she maintained adding: “A vibrant Mela will be organized on March 15 at Amar Mahal lawns where local artists will showcase their works and various cultural stalls will be set up, providing a lively platform for art, craft and cultural exchange.”
Lalit Gupta, Suman Gupta and Kuldeep Wahi also addressed the media and shared their views on the significance of the Tawi Festival as an important cultural initiative for the region.
The organizers of Tawi Festival invited the public, art lovers and cultural enthusiasts to participate in the festival and celebrate the artistic traditions of J&K.
