New Delhi, 10 March (H.S.):

Domestic bullion markets extended losses in early trade Tuesday, with gold prices dropping ₹1,800 to ₹1,970 per 10 grams and silver weakening by ₹5,000 per kilogram, buoyed by receding geopolitical tensions from the Iran conflict.

24-carat gold now trades between ₹1,61,670 and ₹1,61,820 per 10 grams across most centers, while 22-carat ranges from ₹1,48,190 to ₹1,48,340; silver stands at ₹2,79,900 per kg in Delhi.

In Delhi, 24-carat fetched ₹1,61,820 and 22-carat ₹1,48,340 per 10 grams. Mumbai saw 24-carat at ₹1,61,670 and 22-carat at ₹1,48,190. Ahmedabad quoted 24-carat at ₹1,61,720 and 22-carat at ₹1,48,240.

Chennai, Kolkata, and Bengaluru registered 24-carat at ₹1,61,670 (22-carat ₹1,48,190-1,48,340), mirroring Bhopal, Patna, Lucknow, and Jaipur where highs hit ₹1,61,820 for 24-carat and ₹1,48,340 for 22-carat. The retreat tracks crude oil's plunge, easing safe-haven demand post-Monday's war-fueled peaks.
