
New Delhi, 05 February (H.S.): Domestic bullion markets witnessed a robust upswing on Thursday, with gold prices firming up and silver posting a striking gain. This surge propelled gold rates higher by ₹440 to ₹480 per 10 grams across major trading hubs.
Silver exhibited even stronger momentum, climbing as much as ₹20,100 per kilogram in a single session, reaching ₹3,00,000 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market. Consequently, 24-carat gold traded between ₹1,54,420 and ₹1,54,570 per 10 grams in most domestic centers, while 22-carat gold hovered from ₹1,41,550 to ₹1,41,700 per 10 grams.
In Delhi, 24-carat gold commanded ₹1,54,570 per 10 grams on Thursday, alongside 22-carat at ₹1,41,700 per 10 grams. Mumbai saw 24-carat at ₹1,54,420 per 10 grams and 22-carat at ₹1,41,550 per 10 grams, with Ahmedabad recording 24-carat at ₹1,54,470 and 22-carat at ₹1,41,600 per 10 grams.
Chennai and Kolkata both quoted 24-carat gold at ₹1,54,420 per 10 grams and 22-carat at ₹1,41,550 per 10 grams, mirroring patterns in other key markets. Bhopal aligned with Ahmedabad at ₹1,54,470 for 24-carat and ₹1,41,600 for 22-carat per 10 grams.
Lucknow matched Delhi's levels with 24-carat gold at ₹1,54,570 and 22-carat at ₹1,41,700 per 10 grams, while Patna and Jaipur echoed these premiums—Patna at ₹1,54,470 for 24-carat and ₹1,41,600 for 22-carat, and Jaipur at ₹1,54,570 and ₹1,41,700 respectively. In Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar, representing Karnataka, Telangana, and Odisha, 24-carat gold stood at ₹1,54,420 per 10 grams, with 22-carat at ₹1,41,550 per 10 grams.
