Guwahati, 24 February (HS): Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya attended a health camp organised at Jahajghat LP School under Sewa Sankalp Saptah by Lok Bhavan, Assam in association with the National Health Mission, Assam, on Tuesday.

During the visit, the Governor distributed wheelchairs to Divyangjan and handed over Nikshay Mitra kits to caregivers of tuberculosis patients. He also announced a one-time grant for the school’s infrastructure development.

A total of 216 beneficiaries availed services at the camp. Senior officials of the Health and Family Welfare Department, NHM, ASHA workers and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.----------
