Mumbai, 22 February (H.S.): Former Union Minister Sharad Pawar's health deteriorated once again on Sunday, prompting his immediate admission to Ruby Hall Clinic in Pune.
Doctors at the hospital reported that Pawar suffered from vomiting, which led to dehydration, necessitating his readmission for observation and treatment over the next two days.
His condition is now fully stable following essential evaluations, including a CT scan, and medical professionals have advised complete rest.
Pawar's daughter and Member of Parliament, Supriya Sule, disclosed that the 85-year-old leader experienced sudden vomiting earlier in the day, causing discomfort and prompting the swift summoning of physicians from Ruby Hall Clinic. She appealed to party workers and supporters to refrain from visiting the hospital to avoid any inconvenience.
This incident marks Pawar's return to the same facility merely eight days after his discharge on February 14 from a prior hospitalization for a chest infection.
Under the supervision of specialists like Dr. Purvez Grant, chief cardiologist and chairman of Ruby Hall Clinic, Pawar is receiving intravenous fluids and close monitoring.
