Chennai, 21 February (H.S.) : Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and Dravidian Munnetra Kazhagam President M.K. Stalin has issued a strategic directive to the party's Information Technology wing, urging members to move beyond merely countering opposition criticism.

During a high-level consultative meeting held at the party headquarters, Stalin emphasized that the digital frontline must focus on setting the narrative and proactively highlighting the government's developmental achievements. He stated that the IT wing should act as a bridge between the administration and the common man, ensuring that the benefits of the Dravidian model of governance are effectively communicated to every household across the state.

The Chief Minister highlighted that in the current digital era, it is essential to dominate the social media landscape with positive agendas rather than being reactive to the narratives set by political rivals. According to party sources, Stalin instructed the office bearers to identify and promote unique welfare schemes that have significantly impacted the lives of people in rural and urban areas.

He further mentioned that the volunteers must remain vigilant against the spread of misinformation and fake news, which aim to destabilize the social harmony of Tamil Nadu. By maintaining a professional and fact-based approach, the IT wing is expected to strengthen the party's digital presence ahead of upcoming political challenges.

Minister for Information Technology and Digital Services, along with senior DMK leaders, attended the session to discuss the implementation of these new strategies. The authorities concerned noted that specialized training programs would be organized for district-level coordinators to enhance their content creation and distribution capabilities.

Stalin concluded his address by reminding the cadres that their digital conduct should reflect the party's ideologies and respect for democratic values. He asserted that a well-informed public is the greatest strength of the DMK, and the IT wing plays a pivotal role in maintaining that transparency and engagement.
