New Delhi, 17 February (H.S.): Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman met her Norwegian counterpart Jens Stoltenberg in Oslo on Tuesday during her two-day visit, deliberating collaboration opportunities in renewable energy—particularly solar power—rare earth mineral processing, and carbon capture and storage technologies.
According to the Finance Ministry, both leaders explored joint initiatives in these domains alongside leveraging the Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA) to advance maritime and green economies.
Stoltenberg highlighted India's economic growth as a fertile ground for investments and development, eagerly anticipating Prime Minister Narendra Modi's year-end visit to further bolster India-Norway ties.
