New Delhi, 16 February (H.S.): Union Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman arrived in Norway on Monday for a two-day official visit, receiving a warm welcome at Oslo Airport from Indian Ambassador Gloria Gangte.The Finance Ministry stated that Sitharaman will engage in high-level bilateral meetings with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, Finance Minister Jens Stoltenberg, and Trade and Industry Minister Cecilie Myrset to fortify economic and financial collaboration between India and Norway.

Startup Synergy and CEO Roundtable

Sitharaman is scheduled to visit Oslo Science Park, interacting with startup firms to exchange insights on innovation, entrepreneurship, and emerging technologies.She will also participate in a roundtable with Norwegian CEOs and investors to bolster trade and investment linkages, capping her itinerary with a community event for the Indian diaspora—following her recent Munich Security Conference attendance.
