New Delhi, 16 February (H.S.): Domestic precious metals markets opened weakly on Monday's morning session, with gold prices ticking down marginally while silver suffered a steep fall of up to ₹7,000 per kilogram.

Benchmark 24-carat gold traded between ₹1,57,740 and ₹1,57,890 per 10 grams across most bullion hubs, reflecting token softness; 22-carat gold ranged from ₹1,44,590 to ₹1,44,740 per 10 grams.

Silver tumbled sharply to ₹2,68,000 per kilogram in Delhi's sarrafa bazaar, underscoring the day's bearish tone.Delhi saw 24-carat at ₹1,57,890/10g and 22-carat at ₹1,44,740/10g; Mumbai quoted 24-carat at ₹1,57,740/10g and 22-carat at ₹1,44,590/10g; Ahmedabad at ₹1,57,790/10g (24k) and ₹1,44,640/10g (22k).

Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar aligned at ₹1,57,740/10g for 24-carat and ₹1,44,590/10g for 22-carat; Bhopal ₹1,57,790/10g (24k), ₹1,44,640/10g (22k); Lucknow and Jaipur both ₹1,57,890/10g (24k), ₹1,44,740/10g (22k); Patna ₹1,57,790/10g (24k), ₹1,44,640/10g (22k).
