
New Delhi, 14 February (H.S.): Union Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister Nirmala Sitharaman arrived in Germany on Saturday to participate in the Munich Security Conference 2026, where she received a warm welcome at Munich International Airport from India's Consul General in Munich, Shatrughna Sinha.
During her visit, Sitharaman will engage in the high-level Munich Security Conference Roundtable and key panel discussions addressing global economic and strategic issues. The Finance Ministry highlighted these engagements via an X post, underscoring their focus on pressing international concerns.
On the sidelines of the conference, the Minister will conduct bilateral meetings with counterparts from various countries, ministers, and heads of major multilateral organizations to advance mutual interests and fortify economic cooperation.
The Munich Security Conference, a premier international forum on global security held from February 13-15 in Munich, draws over 60 heads of state and government alongside hundreds of policymakers and experts amid escalating geopolitical tensions.
