Prayagraj,
12 Feb (HS): MP Ujjwal Raman Singh met Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav
in New Delhi regarding the problem of railway crossing and shot off a letter demanding
that due to construction of new railway lines, movement of villagers in
villages settled for hundreds of years has been disrupted for which ROB or
underpass should be constructed.
Giving
the above information, MP representative Vinay Kushwaha said that MP Ujjwal
Raman Singh submitted a letter to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav demanding
an overbridge at railway crossing 26C Kathouli Meja and an underpass at Cheoki
Dadri village. He told through the letter that due to the absence of an
overbridge on this busy railway line, local residents, especially school going
children and the general public have to face huge inconvenience in commuting.
MP
Ujjwal Raman Singh urged the Railway Minister to immediately order the
concerned officials so that the construction work of the ROB and underpass can
begin soon and the traffic system in the area can be streamlined.
The
representative stated that local residents of Cheoki Dadri hope that the
underpass and crossing will serve as a lifeline for Kathouli village and dozens
of surrounding villages within the Uruwa development block. Several local
representatives, including former village head Harishankar Sharma, have praised
the MP's efforts. People hope that with the Railway Minister's intervention,
the age-old traffic jam problem will be resolved.
