Domestic bullion markets registered a consecutive second-day uptick in gold prices today, Thursday, with the yellow metal appreciating between ₹750 and ₹820 per 10 grams amid sustained buying interest, while silver quotations remained unaltered.
Early trading saw 24-carat gold commanding ₹1,59,610 to ₹1,59,760 per 10 grams across major exchanges, and 22-carat variants transacting at ₹1,46,310 to ₹1,46,460 per 10 grams; silver lingered unchanged at ₹2,89,900 per kilogram in Delhi's sarafa bazaars.
City-Wise Gold Quotations
Delhi's benchmarks stood at ₹1,59,760 (24-carat) and ₹1,46,460 (22-carat) per 10 grams; Mumbai mirrored with ₹1,59,610 and ₹1,46,310 respectively; Ahmedabad quoted ₹1,59,660 and ₹1,46,360; Chennai and Kolkata aligned at ₹1,59,610 and ₹1,46,310.
Bhopal, Lucknow (₹1,59,760/₹1,46,460), Patna (₹1,59,660/₹1,46,360), and Jaipur (₹1,59,760/₹1,46,460) echoed the rally, as Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar harmonised at ₹1,59,610 (24-carat) and ₹1,46,310 (22-carat).

The ascent, propelled by global cues and festive anticipation, propelled MCX gold futures towards the psychologically pivotal ₹1.60 lakh mark per 10 grams, contrasting silver's stasis despite industrial demand steadiness.
