Chennai, 11 February (H.S.) : Renowned Tamil filmmaker Vetrimaaran on Wednesday released the first look poster of the upcoming family entertainer Sailappan Cycle Mart, directed by Suka. The poster features a creatively designed cycle wheel that depicts a scenic rural landscape, including a temple, a small shop, a bus stand, and a local panchayat session.
Produced by Esakki Karvannan under the Lakshmi Creations banner, the film is set against the backdrop of a village in southern Tamil Nadu. Sources close to the production unit stated that the story aims to reflect the authentic daily lives and real world experiences of rural residents in a professional and tasteful manner.
The movie features an ensemble cast including Esakki Karvannan, MS Bhaskar, Ilavarasu, Munnar Ramesh, and director Subramania Siva in leading roles. Other notable actors such as Pooja Mohanraj, Katha Nandi, and Surjith Gopinath also play pivotal characters in this family drama. Director Tamizh was among the many industry professionals who congratulated the team on social media, expressing pride that the first look was launched by Vetrimaaran.
The project has already generated significant interest among film buffs due to its rooted storytelling and the involvement of high profile industry veterans in its promotional phase.
One of the major highlights of Sailappan Cycle Mart is its impressive technical crew, led by the legendary music composer Isaignani Ilayaraja. The film’s visual language is captured by cinematographer Martin Donraj, while the veteran Suresh URS is in charge of editing. Manoj is handling the sound design for the project.
