
Mumbai, 11 Feb (HS): The ambitious Dharmaveer Swarajya Rakshak Chhatrapati
Sambhaji Maharaj Coastal Road in Mumbai has acquired a different name as Musical
Street. This is the first of its kind road in India where music will be played
when any vehicle passes through it. The Musical Street was inaugurated by Chief
Miinister Devendra Fadnavis on Wednesday, in the presence of Deputy Chief
Minister Eknath Shinde, ex-MP Rahul Shewale, Mumbai’s Additional Municipal
Commissioner Avinash Dhakne and Hungery’s Consul General to India Ference Jari.

said that tune of Slum Dog Millionaire “Jai Ho…’ can be heard while moving on
one side of the road. Using Hungarian technology ribs were installed in the 500
meter stretch of the road. The music is played friction when a vehicle moved at
a speed of 60 to 70 km per hour. This is the first phase of the musical road
constructed in Mumbai.
