New Delhi, 08 January (H.S.): The Ministry of Women and Child Development unveiled the Pankhudi integrated Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and partnership facilitation digital portal on Thursday, designed to streamline coordination, transparency, and stakeholder engagement in women and child development initiatives.
At the launch event, Minister Annapurna Devi emphasized that Pankhudi embodies Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of bridging technology, government, and citizens. This single-window digital platform connects individuals, NRIs, NGOs, CSR contributors, corporates, and government agencies in the women and child development sector, fostering transparency, participation, and trust while enabling public involvement essential for scheme success.
Users can now contribute voluntarily or institutionally to key areas like nutrition, health, early childhood care and education, child welfare, protection and rehabilitation, and women's safety and empowerment.
The portal serves as a unified digital interface for CSR and voluntary contributions, ensuring seamless convergence and coordination among stakeholders to enhance scheme implementation, monitoring, and accountability. State Minister Savitri Thakur and Secretary Anil Malik attended the ceremony.
Key Missions Empowered
Pankhudi supports effective execution of flagship missions including Mission Saksham Anganwadi & Poshan 2.0, Mission Vatsalya, and Mission Shakti through this transparent digital framework. Contributors register, select initiatives, submit proposals, and track contribution status via streamlined approval processes—all transactions strictly non-cash to guarantee transparency, accountability, and traceability.
The platform bridges central/state departments, implementing agencies, civil society organizations, and public/private stakeholders. It will upgrade infrastructure and services across over 1.4 million Anganwadi centers, 5,000 child care institutions, ~800 One Stop Centres, 500+ Shakti Niwas, and 400+ Shakti Sadan nationwide, uplifting the lives of millions accessing these vital services.
