08 Jan (HS): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president and Union Minister
Pankaj Chaudhary performed darshan and puja at the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple
on Thursday, the second day of his Kashi visit. On this occasion, he prayed for
the happiness and prosperity of the state and the country.
In
a brief conversation with reporters at Gate No. 4 of the temple after the
darshan and puja, Pankaj Chaudhary said, It is my good fortune that Baba
Vishwanath called me and I had the opportunity to bow at his feet. Party
workers and local officials were also present during the event. Earlier,
speaking to reporters at the Circuit House, the state president discussed in
detail the Vikasit Bharat – Employment and Livelihood Guarantee Mission – Rural
(Vikasit Bharat – G Ram G), implemented under the leadership of Prime Minister
Narendra Modi. He described it as a decisive step against corruption. Pankaj
Chaudhary said that this act has been brought with strict provisions to ensure
transparency and will prove to be a milestone towards making India a developed
nation by the year 2047.
